Mom & I designed this card for my Club Meeting this month. It uses the darling Adorable Owls stamp set, free with a $50 order during SALEABRATION!! We also used my new, favorite DSP - Dandy Designs, also FREE with a $100. I just LOVE the patterns and colors in this paper!! We used a basic design/cut and the paper guided us with the color selections. We love how it turned out!!
Measurements: :
- Calypso Coral: 1/2 sheet. 3 1/4" square
- Dandy Designs (N)(SAB): 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
- Petal Pink: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 2 3/4" square
To Make This Card:
- Fold Calypso Coral card base in half. Trim 2 1/8" from front of card. Save this piece for another project.
- Attach Petal Pink piece to the "inside" of card.
- Attach DSP to front flap.
- Die cut largest Stitched Square from Calypso Coral piece. Die cut White piece from next size smaller Stitched Square.
- Stamp "owl" in Memento Black onto White square. (or, stamp first and then die cut)
- Color with Blends as shown, or desired.
- Mount the 2 Stitched Squares together and mount to card front, on point, as shown. Be sure on only put adhesive on left side of "diamond"!!
- Finish with new, Iridescent Pastel Gems and a calypso coral bow (I used retired ribbon).
