I just love Red and White cards for Valentine's! They are so "traditional"! This one utilizes some FREE SAB DSP along with a new, gorgeous Hybrid EF and Die that leave you with SO MANY options!! I've tried to combine several with this card!
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet
- Real Red: 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 1 3/4" x 5 1/4", scraps
- Basic White: 6"x 6" (I used at 12"x12" sheet)
- Most Adored DSP (SAB) (N): 1 1/2" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 5 1/2", scraps
To Make This Card:
- Select one row of hearts on the Adoring Hearts EF (i would suggest the top or bottom). Emboss & cut those 3 hearts from the strip of Real Red. Set the hearts aside
- Take the Red strip with the hearts cut out, and attach White strip and Red Heart strip over the openings.
- Then, attach to card front as shown.
- Next, die cut 2 smaller hearts from the DSP. Select one of the Embossed Hearts and the 2 hearts and attach to the top of card, again, as shown.
- Now, for the fun part! We are going to do an ENTIRE sheet of messages!
- Take the brayer and roll ink over the entire EF, be sure it's the side with the SU! logo! Line up the die over the words, it will lock into place, if it's on correctly. Lay White cardstock over all, close the back, and Emboss/Die cut all. You will now have some awesome outlined and raised sentiments to use!
- Select one and attach to your card, as shown.
- Finish with a Real Red knot, and Iridescent Pearls colored with Dk Cherry Cobbler Blend!
