I was hoping to create a long note card using the full width of one of the scenic pieces from the One Horse Open Sleigh DSP. They are just so beautiful, however, what I envisioned, and what I ended up with, are too different things, and I ended up with an odd sized card! Beautiful nonetheless. I'll just have to make a custom envelope.
Measurements:
- Pool Party: 6 5/8" x 8 1/4", scraps
- Basic White: 4" x 6 3/8", 2 1/4" x 5 1/4" (sleigh), scraps (trees)
- One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (N) (OE): 3 5/8" x 6" (Pool Party Trees)
- Gray Granite: 3 3/4" x 6 1/4", scraps (trees)
- Lost Lagoon: scraps (trees)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Pool Party base in half, so the card measures 4 1/4" x 6 3/4". Attach White, then Gray Granite, and then DSP pieces to the base. Set aside.
- Die cut from "bare tree", 1-White, 1-Lost Lagoon, 1-Pool party, and 2-Gray Granite trees.
- Also stamp one Gray Granite trie and die cut with corresponding die. Set all aside.
- Stamp "Horse & Sleigh" in Memento Black ink. Color with Blends as shown. Die cut with corresponding die.
- Lay "Horse & Sleigh" onto card. Arrange trees behind as shown, remove "Sleigh" and adhere trees.
- Then, go back and attach "Sleigh" with Dimensionals.
- Finish with scattered snowflakes with silver centers. I also added some bling to the "Sleigh"
