Bee Mine Valentine

This Bee Mine Valentine Bundle, is just adorable!  Perfect for Valentine's but also any occasion! And, the DSP is just so cheery and fun!  I saw this unique fold (I checked to see if I've ever done one, and couldn't find one) and composition and knew I just had to try it!  I just LOVE the cheerful colors, and cute little be with so many faces to choose from!

  • Basic Black: 1/2 sheet
  • Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scrap (wings)

To Make This Card:

  • Score Basic Black base at 2 3/4" from one end. Then, either turn and score at 1 1/2", or match cut edges and crease, creating 1 1/2" front flap. Crease well.
  • Attach White "quarter" to inside.  Add 1/2" strip of DSP.  Stamp triple hearts in Sweet Sorbet ink.
  • Next, attach DSP pieces to corresponding layers as shown.
  • Cut largest stitched square in Daffodil Delight from Stylish Shapes Dies.
  • Stamp "Love You" in Memento Black ink on lower right corner. Then stamp "bee trail" 2x above the sentiment.
  • Punch "bee" from Daffodil Delight scrap. Stamp "stripes" onto this piece in Memento Black ink. Also, add desired "eyes". Set aside.
  • Stamp 2 "wings" onto scrap of White.  Punch out with Bee Builder Punch. Attach to wrong side of "bee" as shown.
  • Add completed "bee" to Daffodil square with Dimensionals, as shown.
  • Stamp "antennae" directly onto square, above "bee".
  • Add square to card front, as shown. Making sure to add adhesive to only 1/2 of square!
  • Now, punch one large, and one small heart from Bee Builder Punch. You can punch both at the same time!
  • Attach larger heart to front of card, and smaller to the Daffodil square.
  • Finish with a small bow of Sweet Sorbet ribbon, and several scattered Adhesive Backed Hearts & Flowers.
