Classic Flower Cart

Time to start creating, again!  First up, my monthly Stamp Club! My hostess requested the darling Flower Cart Bundle in the new Jan-Apr Mini! This one uses the awesome bundle, as well as a new Hybrid EF/Die - Thoughtful Moments -  and some Sale-a-Bration (SAB) paper! Love, love, love the color combination of Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat, and Boho Blue!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet, scraps
  • Pecan Pie: 4" x 5 1/4", scraps
  • BoHo Blue: scraps
To Make This Card:

  • Attach Pecan Pie layer to folded White card. Then, attach DSP layer. Set aside.
  • Stamp "cart" "greenery" in Wild Wheat onto scrap of White.  Add "flowers" (they fit so neat) in Boho Blue ink.  Also, stamp small "greenery" and "flowers" the same.  Cut both out with corresponding dies. Oh, and don't forget the "flower pot" stamped in Pecan Pie ink!
  • Stamp "sign" in Pecan Pie ink, then add Wild Wheat sentiment. Die cut with corresponding die.
  • Die cut "cart" and "wheel" with "brace".  You only need the "cart" base, and one "wheel".  Set them on the straight edge of your scrap of Pecan Pie, and only cut out what you need!!!
  • Die cut "awning" in Boho Blue, and "awning stripes" in White.
  • Now, let's assemble the "cart". Believe it or not, I used Multipurpose Glue to assemble most of the cart! Start by adding the "support" (which cuts separately from the die) near the back of the "cart base".
  • Then, add the "flowers" into the cart, so they just overlap. Then, add ONE "wheel", so the "brace" follows the front of the cart.
  • FInish by attaching the "stripes" to the "awning". Then, attach the "awning" to the "flowers" in the cart.
  • Next, add the assembled "cart" to the card front with Dimensionals.
  • Add the "sign" next to the "cart", also with a Dimensional.
  • I embellished with silver Sparkle Gems!
  • For the neat sentiment, I brayered (new) the Thoughtful Moments EF with Pecan Pie ink, lined up the die, put a small piece of White cardstock over all, and ran it through the Stamp, Cut, and Emboss Machine, and you get this awesome inked, and raised sentiment, that I added with Dimensionals.
  • To finish the inside, I added a strip of DSP, and the small pot of "flowers".
