Don't forget to check out the new offerings in the Online Exclusives! I just love the Latte Love Bundle! Stay tuned for more ideas, as I was playing with this bundle this week! This sample uses a fun fold that I haven't done in AGES! I call it a Cut and Flip card, where you cut off the bottom half of the card front, and flip it and use it as a design feature!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" (inside), scrap
- A Little Latte DSP (N) )OE): 2 1/2" x 4" (plaid), 2 1/2" x 4" (brown swirl), 4" x 5 1/4" (calypso coral beans), 2 "cup" die cuts (from DSP)
To Make This Card:
- Fold White card base in half. Cut off 2 3/4" from the front flap, set aside to be used later!
- Attach "plaid" DSP to remaining front flap, and larger DSP to the "inside" of card.
- Attach the "brown swirl" to the piece your removed.
- Let's finish this piece.
- Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso onto scrap of White. Die cut with Perennial Postage die. Attach to top of this layer as shown.
- Next, die cut 2 "cups" ,from the DSP piece, of your choosing. Attach one "cup" flush, and pop up the other with Dimensionals, as shown.
- Now, you can add this to your card front, by attaching only the top half to the top piece of your card. Isn't that neat! I love it when you can remove a piece and still use it on your card!
- Attach other White piece to "inside" of card, behind the front layer.
- Finish with the new Swirl Dots and a little Wink of Stella on the cups.
