Blackberry Beauty Origami Square Fold

 I wanted to create another Origami Square card on "point", on a regular card. I decided to use the gorgeous Blackberry Beauty DSP!

Measurements:  

• Blackberry Bliss: 1/2 sheet
• Regals DSP (Blackberry Bliss): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Blackberry Bliss DSP (N): 4" square
• Gold Foil: 3" square, scrap
• Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)

To Make This Card:

• Fold Blackberry Bliss card base in half. Attach DSP.
• Take the 4" DSP square and fold it in half, open, and then fold it in half the other way.  You will now take each point fold it in to the center, where the folds cross. Repeat for all 4 corners. Crease really well with a bone folder!
• Now, take each point and fold it back to the creased edge as shown! Crease well.
• Mount this folded square onto the Gold Foil layer, and then attach to card "on point" as shown.  The points will just fit!
• Cut out small leaf from Gold Foil using the Stitched Leaves dies.  Attach it to the center of the Origami Square with a Dimensional.
• Finish with Gilded Gems on the 4 corners.

Be Dazzling Beta

Absolutely LOVE this gorgeously simple card! It utilizes the stunning Expressions in Ink DSP and the unique Be Dazzling paper that you can choose, for FREE, with your SAB rewards with a $50 order! The "ripples" on top are made using the stitched die from the Stitched Leaves Dies in the Annual Catalog. You need to really see this IRL!  We ARE doing this card in class this week!

Measurements:   

• Shaded Spruce: 1/2 sheet
• Expressions in Ink (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Be Dazzling DSP (N) (SAB): 3 3/4" square

To Make This Card:

• Fold  Shaded Spruce card in half.
• Run the top (white part) of the DSP through the Stitched Leaves Die. Attach to card front.
• Cut "fighting fish" from Be Dazzling paper. Attach where desired using Multipurpose glue and a sponge dauber.
• Stamp sentiment in Shaded Spruce.
• Finish with Artistry Blooms Sequins for "bubbles", and our new Brushed Metallic Dots.

Plaid Leaves Fun Fold!

Ok.  So, I DO have a Fun Fold ready to post!!  This is one of the cards we did this month in my 5/$10 card class as well! I use this fold a lot, as it is awesome, easy, and looks great!

Measurements:  

• Rich Razzleberry: 1/2 sheet, 2 pcs 3 1/8" x 4 3/8"
• Sahara Sand: 4" x 5 1/4", 2" x 5 1/4"
• Plaid Tidings(N): 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

To Make this Card:

• Fold the Rich Razzleberry card in half, and then fold the front back in half, again, on itself, as shown.
• Attach Sahara Sand quarter to the inside.  Run the Sahara Sand strip through the Tasteful Textures Embossing Folder (one of my favorites - this is a "must have"!!)
• Cut 2 large Stitched Scallop rectangles from the 2 pieces of Rich Razzleberry. Set one aside.  With the other one, cut 3 staggered "leaves" using the leaf from the Stitched Leaves Dies. Adhere the Plaid DSP to the back of this piece.  Then, attach the remaining piece to the back to hide the backside of the Plaid piece. Attach half of this piece to the "flap" of the card front.
• Finish with a couple of scattered die cut leaves and a little scattered bling.  (I used sequins).
