Here is a more "traditional" carousel with 2 horses! There ARE actually 2 different, smaller horses in this set. You need to pay attention to both the "mane" stamps and dies, so that you match them up correctly!
Measurements:
- Lemon Lolly (N): 1/2 sheet
- Bright & Beautiful DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Lemo Lolly stars)
- Tahitian Tide: 3 1/2" x 4 1/4"
- Parakeet Party: 2" x 3" (for details)
- Basic White: scraps
To Make This Card:
- Attach DSP to folded Lemon Lolly card base.
- Die cut "carousel awnings" and "base" from Tahitian Tide.
- Also, die cut one "carousel awning" from Parakeet Party. You'll need contrasting inserts!
- Stamp both, smaller horses on scrap of white in Memento Black.
- You don't HAVE to color the horses, you have stamps to just STAMP the details!!! I love this! However, you need to match the correct "mane" to the correct "horse". I stamped the "mane" in Lemon Lolly, and the "saddles" and "flowers" in opposite colors on each horse. I added WInk of Stella to the "mane". (Reminds me of Amanda's My Little Pony's"!)
- Match the correct die to each pony and cut them out.
- I began with the "awning". For this sample, you leave the "pole base". Next, place a piece of scotch tape on the wrong side ot the awning, across the openings. Attach the contrasting pieces to the tape, and you're done with this piece.
- Adhere this piece a little above center to the card front.
- Now, add "ponies" to card. Touching the top of the "poles" to the base of the "awning".
- Next, attach the "detail awning" in place under "awning" and over the "poles" with Dimensionals. (I forgot to do this, but will next time.)
- Place 1/8" Tear n Tape on "base". Center under center "pole".
- Stamp "banner" in Tahitian Tide. Curve sentiment and stamp in Parakeet Party. Die cut with corresponding die. Attach to card under "carousel" with Dimensionals.
- Finish with new, In-Color Pearls.
