This card was designed by Susan Campfield. It utilizes the beautiful Eyelet Border from the Darling Details Dies, which I just love! The tricky part is finding a ribbon that will fit through the slits in the die cut! What you need to find is a ribbon that is only 1/4" wide. So many occasions and so many color possibilities! Give it a try!
Measurements:
- Poppy Parade: 1/4 sheet, 7/8" x 5 1/4", scraps
- Basic White: 5 1/4" x 8 1/8", 7/8" x 5 1/4" (border), scrap
To Make This Card:
- Fold the White base in half. Run the front through the "floral" embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders from the Online Exclusives. Attach to the Poppy Parade base.
- Die cut the "eyelet border" from the White strip by placing the scallop edge near the bottom of the piece.
- Now, thread the ribbon through the slits in the die cut. I attached both ends of the ribbon to the cardstock with a Mini Glue Dot.
- Attach this piece to the strip of Poppy Parade cardstock. Then add to card front.
- Die cut the floral piece from the Darling Details Dies. Add to card front as shown.
- Punch a scallop oval from Poppy Parade.
- Stamp sentiment onto scrap of White and punch a smooth oval, centering the sentiment.
- Layer together and add to card with Dimensionals.
- Finish with jewels of your choice in the center of the flowers.
