There are several different versions of this fold out there. This one was shared by fellow demonstrator Terri Gaines, however, I created my own version using the Changing Leaves Bundle from the Online Exclusives. For this one I used Garden Green and Copper Clay. I LOVE how it turned out. We will be doing this card in club this month!
Measurements:
- Garden Green: 5 1/2" x 10 3/4" (base), 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" (left, embossed), 2 5/8" x 4 3/8" (right), scraps
- Copper Clay: 3" x 5" (left), 2 3/4" x 4 1/2" (right), 3" x 4 1/4" (inside)
- Basic White: 2 3/8" x 4 1/8" (right), 2 3/4" x 4" (inside)
- To Market DSP: 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" (Garden Green Plaid)
To Make This Card:
- Score "card" at 1 5/8" - 3 1/4" from each end. Accordion fold each end. Crease well.
- Take 2 White pieces and randomly stamp leaves in stamped off Garden Green ink, as shown. One piece goes inside, and one goes on the right - you need to keep track of which one goes where!
- Mount the inside one, to the inside Copper Clay piece and adhere inside.
- Layer the 3 "right" pieces together, and set aside.
- Next, take the "left" green piece and emboss with the embossing folder. Mount the 3 "left" pieces together.
- Attach "left" piece to left side of card base, making sure you have an even border. Close card.
- Attach "right" piece to the right side, but ONLY the far right edge. I used Tear n Tape. Again, with an equal border (Note: it will NOT be the same as the left side.)
- To close card, tuck the left side UNDER the right! Cool, huh!
- To finish the front, die cut 2 leaves from Garden Green scraps. Stamp, in Copper Clay and die cut sentiment. Place onto card as shown, or desired.
- Embellish with a triple Linen Thread bow, and scattered, retired Copper Clay gems.
