Becky's Stampin' Studio: Easter Basket Slider Flip Card

I found this fun fold card designed by Sue Campfield. I had to watch the video for the instructions, but it was worth it! (And, now YOU have the info!) I just love this Suite of products (Easter Joy)!! This one also incorporates the gorgeous Pastel Shimmer paper in the Online Store that is just PERFECT with this Suite! This reminds me of a fold that we used to do years ago, but used the Word Window Punch for the opening rather than a die. Too much fun!

Measurements:

Basic White: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", 2" x 6", 1 3/4" x 3 1/2" (inside), scraps
Balmy Blue: 2" x 3 3/4" (inside)
Pecan Pie: scrap
Pastel Shimmer (N)(OE): scraps
Easter Joy DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Summer Splash print), 2 1/2" x 4" (Pastel Plaid), 3" x 4" (Basket Weave print)
Pleasant Patterns DSP (N): scraps

To Make This Card:

Adhere Summer Splash print to White "postcard" card base.
Score 2" x 6" "mechanism" @ 2" - 2 1/2". Crease with "Mountain Folds".
Take one of the 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" White pieces and die cut a small rectangle opening with the smallest Textured Notes Dies. Adhere this to the front of card with Dimensionals, placing one Dimensional in each corner ONLY.
Now, take the "mechanism". Place Tear & Tape on the 1/2" area between the creases. Also, place a strip on the UNDER side of the 2" area.
Now, take the other 2 3/4" x 4 1/4" White piece. Adhere the Plaid DSP piece to the front.
Next, thread the "mechanism" through the opening in the attach piece, with the longest piece on the bottom, and the 1/2"/2" piece on top. Remove the backing on the 1/2" area and center and adhere to the layered White piece, with the fold even with the cut edge.
Now, center this piece to the one that is already attached. Remove the backing from the underneath end of the 2" area on the "mechanism", and adhere that to the base. Try pulling the tab so it flips the front! (Go check out her video for more info!)
That is now all done. On to decorating!
Die cut that darling "basket" from the Basket Weave DSP.
Die cut the "scallop" and one "egg" from the Lemon Lolly Shimmer, "grass" from the Pool Party Shimmer, and the "bow" and one "egg" from the Pretty in Pink Shimmer.
I also cut one (well, actually 2 - I didn't use one) from the coordinating Pleasant Patterns DSP.
Also, you'll need one "chocolate bunnny" stamped in Early Espresso onto Pecan Pie cardstock and cut with its' coordinating die.
Ok, now to put it all together!
Adhere the "grass" to the wrong side of the basket top. Adhere the "scallop" to the front (I used Green Glue for both of these). Add the "bow" with a Mini Glue Dot.
Add the "basket" to the front "flap" with Dimensionals, making sure you leave the top open.
Next, add the "bunny" and 3 eggs. and the front is done!
For the inside, stamp images of your choice and die cut them out. I decided to use one of the larger "bunnies" and the carrot. I colored them with Blends. You'll need to use a Craft Knife to cut a slit for the carrot.
After stamping the sentiment in Memento Black, I added the "bunny", and then adhered that to the Balmy Blue layer.
Add adhesive to the stationary part of the "mechanism" and adhere this layer.
Finish with a small Balmy Blue Gingham bow on the pull tab, and scattered Summer Splash Flat Pearls.
