All Occasion Flower Basket #2

Here is another fun idea using the Easter Basket bundle! (Sorry, I'm still prepping for club!) This is a little less "Easter" and a little more "Any Occasion"! For this one I used Timid Tiger.  I started by finding a background DSP (Splash of Sparkles) and working from there. The original idea is from Terri Gaines, and I tweaked it a bit. This bundle is so much fun!

Measurements:

  • Timid Tiger: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/8" x 4 3/4", scrap
  • Splash of Sparkles (N)(OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (Timid Tiger "watercolor")
  • Basic White: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", scraps
  • Pecan Pie: 3" x 4"
  • Crumb Cake: scrap
To Make This Card:
  • Adhere the DSP to folded Timid Tiger card base.
  • Run the White layer through the new Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. (Note: This EF has a tendency to cut really deep, so if you have a "tight" die cutting machine, you might want to add a piece of waxed paper, or copy paper.)
  • Adhere to smaller Timid Tiger piece, and attach to front of card.
  • Next, die cut "basket" from Pecan Pie.
  • Die cut "weaving strips" from scrap of Crumb Cake (you only need 4), and bow from Timid Tiger scrap.
  • Now, stamp 3 "flower clusters" in Garden Green ink. Color with Blends, as shown.
  • Weave 4 strips into "basket".
  • Next, add the 3 "flower clusters" inside the "basket".
  • Adhere "basket" to White layer with Dimensionals.  I only placed them on the basket part. I ended up tucking a Mini Dimensional behind the tallest flower in each "cluster".
  • Then, add the bow.
  • Finish the inside with a piece of White, and a strip of DSP.
  • Finish the front with Timid Tiger Flat Pearls, and a small Iridescent Pearl in the center of each little flower.
