Simple Stamped Eden's Garden

Here is a simple stamped card that is embellished with a little bling.  I had never tried shredding our gold ribbon.  I like how it adds to the card!  Give it a try!

Measurements:

  • Evening Evergreen: 1/2 sheet
  • Ever Eden DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
To Make This Card:

  • Fold Soft Succulent card base in half and attach DSP.
  • Cut largest scallop rectangle from the Scallop Contour Dies.
  • Randomly stamp large "floral sprig" and then small "sprig" in Soft Succulent. Attach this piece to card with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp sentiment in Evening Evergreen.  Fussy cut around this and attach to card.
  • Tie a knot from the gold ribbon.  Leave ends long enough for you to "strip".  Attach to card.
  • Tie a double bow from Open Weave ribbon and attach close to Gold knoot.
  • Finish with scattered Gilded Gems.

Peppermint Kisses

I fell in love with the "traditional" red & white peppermint card using the Scallop Contour Dies and awesome, versatile Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. So many images can be cut directly from the DSP, but I chose to "make" my peppermints using cardstock and dies!!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/2" x 4 3/4", 1 1/2" x 2 3/4" (label), scraps
  • Real Red: 1/4 sheet, scraps
  • Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP: 2 3/4" x 4"
To Make This Card:

  • Run Real Red piece through largest scallop die. Then, run the White piece through the next size, and lastly, the DSP with the next size.
  • Attach the Real Red to folded Basic White card base. Then, add White layer. The DSP piece is popped up with Dimensionals.
  • Stamp sentiment in Real Red onto piece of White. Cut out with "label" die.  Adhere, flat, to card.
  • Cut one each of peppmints, for a total of 3.  Also cut "detail" from White.  Attach together.
  • Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with Red Rhinestones in center of "peppermints"

Peachy Pizzazz Card

This is a copy of a gorgeous card that I saw online. Not the easiest to figure out, but the results are worth it!!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/2" x 5", scraps
  • You're a Peach DSP (N): 1/4 sheet
  • Pale Papaya (N): 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
To Make This Card

  • Cut largest Scalloped Contour Die from Pear Pizzazz DSP piece.
  • Attach this to folded White card.
  • Cut Ornate rectangle from Basic White.  Cut out center of this piece with trimmer or scissors, close to the picot dots.
  • Cut Stitched Rectangle from Pale Papaya cardstock. You will need the OUTSIDE of this piece!! Trim all outside edges to 1/4".
  • Attach directly to Pear layer.  Adhere White Ornate frame over the top so Papaya edges are under the "Picot" edge.
  • Stamp "branch" in Pear Pizzazz.  Cut out with cooresponding die.  Ink 3 "peaches" in Pale Papaya. Add highlights to the edges in Calypso Coral with a sponge dauber. Cut out with corresponding die.
  • Stamp sentiment in Pear Pizzazz.  Cut out with "label" die.
  • Arrange all onto card, on Dimensionals, as shown.
  • Finish with Pale Papaya Open Weave ribbon.

Scallop Contour Dies Blends & Alcohol Marbling Technique

So, here's another sample highlighting the Blend & Alcohol Marbling Technique!  This one focuses more on the Marbling!  I mounted the finished piece, as usual, onto Basic White, but then cut it out with the GORGEOUS, new Scallop Contour die.  Be sure to check out my video showing how to do this technique.  It is SO MUCH FUN!!

Measurements:

  • Granny Apple Green: 1/2 sheet, 2 3/4" x 4"
  • Bermuda Bay: 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Vellum: 1/4 sheet
  • Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4"
To Make This Card:

  • Take the 2 Darkest Blends, and randomly color all over the vellum. I place it on my silicone sheet! Now, take a paint brush or Aqua Painter or Water Brush and dab the 91% Alcohol on top of the blends.  (Check out my video!) Allowing the colors to bleed.  Set aside to dry, or dry with a heat tool.  Note: I find it curls more if allowed to dry naturally.
  • Cut Stitched Scallop from Granny Apple Green.  Stamp Sentiment of your choice in Bermuda Bay ink. Set aside.
  • This time I did NOT trim the Vellum piece. Just adhere it to the Basic White layer with Multipurpose "green" Glue. Then, cut out with Scallop Die.  You may have to add a little glue to the scallop edges.
  • Adhere the Vellum piece to the Bermudal Bay layer.  Trim close to scallops, if desired.  Attach to folded Granny Apple card.
  • Attach Granny Apple layer to card with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with color Rhinestones and a Bermuda Bay knot.
