Simply Elegant Angel of Peace

I finally got these gorgeous set, Angels of Peace, from the Holiday Mini!  I could envision her watercolored or washed!  Here is a simply elegant card I somewhat CASED from another demonstrator.  I love her embossed, and lightly watercolored with ink and water painter!

Measurements:    

• Pool Party: 1/2 sheet
• Thick Basic White: 1/4 sheet

To Make This Card:

• Fold Pool Party card in half. Run front through new Merry Melody 3D embossing folder.
• Cut ornate frame from White piece. I used the Thick Basic White so my die cut better!
• Emboss "angel" in Silver Embossing Powder. (she just fits!)
• "Watercolor" dress with Pool Party Ink and water painter.  Her "hair" is Lt So Saffron Blend, and the "bird" is Dk Pool Party blend.
• Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
• Finish with bow in Pool Party sheer ribbon and scattered Rhinestones.

Fall Nature's Harvest

I just love fall and all the colors!  I love this Nature's Harvest Bundle!!  I paired it with the gorgeous Beauty of the Earth DSP, and my favorite Ornate Layers dies, and voila, this is what I came up with!

Measurements:   

• Mossy Meadow: 1/2 sheet
• Beauty of the Earth DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Basic White: 2 1/4" x 5 1/8", 2 1/2" x 4" (flowers), scraps

To Make this Card:

• Attach DSP to folded Mossy Meadow card.
• Cut detailed label from Basic White.  Add to card.
• Stamp "flowers" in Memento Black onto piece of White.  Color with Blends as shown.  Cut out with corresponding die. Attach to card with Dimensionals. 
• Stamp sentiment in Bumblebee. Cut out with die from Hippo and Friends dies. Add to card with Dimensionals.
• Finish with Holiday Rhinestones.

Peachy Pizzazz Card

This is a copy of a gorgeous card that I saw online. Not the easiest to figure out, but the results are worth it!!

Measurements:  

• Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/2" x 5", scraps
• You're a Peach DSP (N): 1/4 sheet
• Pale Papaya (N): 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"

To Make This Card

• Cut largest Scalloped Contour Die from Pear Pizzazz DSP piece.
• Attach this to folded White card.
• Cut Ornate rectangle from Basic White.  Cut out center of this piece with trimmer or scissors, close to the picot dots.
• Cut Stitched Rectangle from Pale Papaya cardstock. You will need the OUTSIDE of this piece!! Trim all outside edges to 1/4".  
• Attach directly to Pear layer.  Adhere White Ornate frame over the top so Papaya edges are under the "Picot" edge.
• Stamp "branch" in Pear Pizzazz.  Cut out with cooresponding die.  Ink 3 "peaches" in Pale Papaya. Add highlights to the edges in Calypso Coral with a sponge dauber. Cut out with corresponding die.
• Stamp sentiment in Pear Pizzazz.  Cut out with "label" die.
• Arrange all onto card, on Dimensionals, as shown.
• Finish with Pale Papaya Open Weave ribbon.

Hydrangea Haven Ornate Frame

As I get a new stamp set or bundle, I like to sit down and "get to know" it.  Yesterday, I sat down to "get to know" the new Hydrangea Haven Bundle! I usually begin by cutting out all the die pieces.  There are frequently some surprises, and these dies were no exception.  So, I set out to explore all these pieces and came up with 4 cards.  Each one has a different "Hydrangea" design. You are going to have to have this bundle!!  The flower is a nice size and all of the components and colors are just GORGEOUS!! (I'm posting this one, first, because it was my Mom's favorite!  She LOVES those frames! Can't say I blame her! They are a MUST HAVE!!)

Measurements:  

• Gorgeous Grape: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
• Hydrangea Hill DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Whisper White: 3 1/2" x 5" (frame),3 1/4" x 4 1/4" (flower
• Hydrangea Hill Mercury Glass Designer Acetate (N): 2 1/4" x 3 5/8"             

To Make this Card.

• Attach DSP to folded Gorgeous Grape card.
• Cut Ornate Layer from Whisper White piece.  Attach Mercury Glass Acetate with Mini Glue Dots on the 4 corners.
• Stamp full flower onto piece of white. Use Sponge Daubers to add Old Olive to the leaves, and Hightland Heather & Gorgeous Grape to the Flower.  Cut out with corresponding die.  Snip off flower at base of stem, so the flower fits better on the "frame".  
• Attach "stem" to layer. Then add "flower" over stem with Dimensionals.
• Attach this piece to card with Dimensionals.
• Tie a bow in new Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon. Attach to card, where desired, with Mini Glue Dots.
• Color small pearls with Lt & Dk Highland Heather Blends.  Attach to flower as shown.
