Misty Moonlight Scalloped Wishes

Well I decided it was time to get off the pink kick (at least for my Senior Center class) and create something in a different color! Everything I was going to try was a shade of pink. So I found this lovely Misty Moonlight piece of DSP and went from there! I just love it!  This bundle makes such quick, gorgeous cards.  I think they will LOVE it!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/8" x 3 3/4", scrap
  • Misty Moonlight: 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
  • Bubble Bath: scraps
  • Lost Lagoon: scraps
  • Painted Illusions (POTM) (ret): 4" x 5 1/4" (Misty Moonlight print)
To Make This Card:

  • Adhere the DSP to folded White card base.
  • Stamp outside "dotty" image in Misty Moonlight ink onto White piece. Die cut with corresponding die from the Scalloped Wishes Dies.
  • Die cut next, Oval Die from Misty Moonlight cardstock. Adhere these 2 together with Multipurpose Glue.
  • Next, die cut all 3 small "sprigs" from Lost Lagoon, and a set of "flowers" from Bubble Bath and one from White (you'll only use the smallest flower). Add a little Wink of Stella to the flowers, if desired.
  • Arrange "sprigs" and "flowers" onto "ovals". I popped up the flowers with Mini Dimensionals.
  • Stamp sentiment in center with Misty Moonlight ink.
  • Add "ovals" to front of card with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with Bubble Bath Rainbow Dot on White Flower, and White Moody Palette Dots on the 2 Pink flowers.

Pastel Shimmer Scalloped Wishes

This card that uses the Pastel Shimmer Cardstock from the Online Store (along with a little Vellum) is just stunning in person! And, the Scalloped Wishes dies make it so simple to layer all the pieces for a gorgeous, quick card!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4" (embossed layer), scrap (sentiment)
  • Vellum: 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
  • Pastel Shimmer (OE): 3 1/8" x 3 5/8", scraps (Pool Party); scraps (Lemon Lolly & Bubble Bath)
To Make This Card:

  • Run White layer through Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder from the Online Store, and then attach to folded White card base.
  • Next, die cut the larger "detailed" scallop die from Vellum.
  • Then, die cut the scalloped layer that goes underneath it in Pool Party Shimmer.
  • Now, take scraps of the Pastel Shimmer and die cut "stems" in Pool Party, and "flowers" from Lemon Lolly and Bubble Bath.
  • Arrange largest "stem", and 3 flowers, as shown, onto the Vellum layer.  Now, you can flip this layer over, put your adhesive over the areas you can see with your focal point - to hide the adhesive, and then attach it to the Pool Party layer. Neat huh!
  • Then, add this layer to the front of your card with Dimensionals!
  • I did add a sentiment, stamped in Pool Party in, and embellished with a small "stem" and "flower".
  • The flower "centers" are Rainbow Dots.
  • I finished with a bow of sheer, White ribbon.

Monochromatic Scalloped Wishes

I just LOVE the stamps and dies in the Scalloped Wishes Bundle! While visiting my aunt, I had more time to play with the sets I had not had time, yet, to play with, and this was one of them!  I found this awesome layered/die cut monochromatic card.  I used Pecan Pie and Very Vanilla for this version, that I found somewhere.  So classy, a nice masculine card, and fast and simple to make! Give it a try!

Measurements:

  • Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/8" x 4" (bottom layer), 3" x 3 5/8" (next layer), 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (top layer),strip
  • Pecan Pie: 3 3/4" x 4 5/8" (bottom layer)
  • Delicate Dreams DSP (N)(OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (Pecan Pie "linen")
To Make This Card:

  • Adhere DSP to folded Very Vanilla card base.
  • Die cut largest, Pecan Pie layer from Beautifully Celebrated Dies, as well as the next layer from Very Vanilla.
  • Stamp the largest Scalloped image in Pecan Pie ink onto next layer of Very Vanilla, and die cut with corresponding die.
  • Lastly, die cut the largest detailed Scalloped Die from the Scalloped Wishes Dies.
  • Before assembling, Stamp the "cattails" and "dragonflies", as shown onto Oval Insert from the last Scalloped Die in Pecan Pie ink. Add a little Wink of Stella to the "dragonfly wings".
  • Now, to put it all together!
  • First, layer the largest 2, Beautifully Celebrated die cuts onto the card front, a ways to the right.
  • Then, I adhered the stamped image and detailed die cut together, flush with each other. The 2 fit together so neatly!  I then added this to the card front with Dimensionals.
  • And, lastly, I added the stamped center oval with Dimensionals.
  • Finish the card with a stamped sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. I just fussy cut a rectangle around it!  And, 3 Natural Matte dots.

Pink Scalloped Wishes

I am always on the lookout for unique dies when the new products come out! The Scalloped Wishes bundle not only has unique dies, but gorgeous stamps to go along with it!  This version is in shades of pink - Strawberry Slush and Bubble Bath! I have it paired with with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder. Also, notice the detail on the back layer.  The stamp has all these cool dots, only they are on the stamp and not the die.  I wasn't sure how they were so prominent...it's Embossing Powder!!!

Measurements:

  • Basic White: 4" x 10 5/8", 1 3/8" x 3 1/2" (frame insert), scrap
  • Strawberry Slush: 1/4 sheet, 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" (largest layer)
  • Bubble Bath: 4" x 5 1/4",  1 3/8" x 3 1/2" (2nd layer)
To Make This Card:

  • Run Bubble Bath layer through Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to folded White card base, and then attach to Strawberry Slush 1/4 sheet.
  • Stamp & heat emboss largest "frame" stamp on Strawberry Slush layer with White Embossing Powder. Die cut with corresponding die.
  • Die cut the next layer from Bubble Bath AND White (you only need the center of the White). You will not need the center of the Bubble Bath one.
  • Now, take the White oval and stamp the "cattails" in Crumb Cake ink.  Color the actual "cattails" with Crumb Cake Blend.
  • Stamp sentiment in Strawberry Slush ink.
  • Stamp "dragonfly" in Strawberry Slush ink, onto scrap of White and die cut with corresponding die.
  • Layer all 3 pieces together, and add to front of card.
  • To finish the front, add "dragonfly" to front with mini Dimensional.  Also, add scattered Strawberry Slush Flat Pearls.
  • Oh, I also added a little Wink of Stella to the "dragonfly" and to the "cattails".
  • For the inside, I stamped the "cattails" in Crumb Cake, also coloring the "cattails" with Blends.
  • Stamp sentiment in Crumb Cake. Add a couple "dragonflies" in Strawberry Slush and color wings with Wink of Stella.
