Monochromatic Scalloped Wishes

I just LOVE the stamps and dies in the Scalloped Wishes Bundle! While visiting my aunt, I had more time to play with the sets I had not had time, yet, to play with, and this was one of them!  I found this awesome layered/die cut monochromatic card.  I used Pecan Pie and Very Vanilla for this version, that I found somewhere.  So classy, a nice masculine card, and fast and simple to make! Give it a try!

Measurements:

  • Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/8" x 4" (bottom layer), 3" x 3 5/8" (next layer), 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (top layer),strip
  • Pecan Pie: 3 3/4" x 4 5/8" (bottom layer)
  • Delicate Dreams DSP (N)(OE): 4" x 5 1/4" (Pecan Pie "linen")
To Make This Card:

  • Adhere DSP to folded Very Vanilla card base.
  • Die cut largest, Pecan Pie layer from Beautifully Celebrated Dies, as well as the next layer from Very Vanilla.
  • Stamp the largest Scalloped image in Pecan Pie ink onto next layer of Very Vanilla, and die cut with corresponding die.
  • Lastly, die cut the largest detailed Scalloped Die from the Scalloped Wishes Dies.
  • Before assembling, Stamp the "cattails" and "dragonflies", as shown onto Oval Insert from the last Scalloped Die in Pecan Pie ink. Add a little Wink of Stella to the "dragonfly wings".
  • Now, to put it all together!
  • First, layer the largest 2, Beautifully Celebrated die cuts onto the card front, a ways to the right.
  • Then, I adhered the stamped image and detailed die cut together, flush with each other. The 2 fit together so neatly!  I then added this to the card front with Dimensionals.
  • And, lastly, I added the stamped center oval with Dimensionals.
  • Finish the card with a stamped sentiment in Pecan Pie ink. I just fussy cut a rectangle around it!  And, 3 Natural Matte dots.
