Becky's Stampin' Studio: Rustic Crate Poinsettia Double Z Fold

Stampin' friend and fellow demonstrator, Carmen Miyoshi, came up from Mt Pleasant Saturday to plan our projects for her "club meeting" next Saturday. We knew that we wanted to use the Rustic Crate, but beyond that...I will share the card that she will be demonstrating, but first I wanted to share mine! I LOVE how it turned out! It's a "Becky Original"! I used the gorgeous Joyful DSP with the poinsettia from the Rustic Crate bundle. It is just gorgeous IRL!

Measurements:

Cherry Cobbler: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3" x 9" (Z fold)
Joyful DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (holly), 2 3/4" x 4" (gold music notes)
Gold Foil: 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" square, 2" x 3" (back crate), scrap
Distressed Gold: 1 1/2" x 3" (front crate)
Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 1/2" square, scrap

To Make This Card:

Fold Cherry Cobbler base in half, and then fold the front back on itself. Crease well.
Score the Z fold piece at 3"-6". Accordion fold into a "Z". Crease well.
Attach Holly DSP piece to "inside" of main card.
Attach smaller, Gold Music DSP piece to front flap.
Adhere Gold Foil squares to front and "inside" the "Z" piece.
Take one White square and Gold emboss sentiment near top, center. Adhere to front of "Z".
To create the "crate". Die cut the "back" of the crate from Gold Foil. Fold "flaps" to the INSIDE of the "crate", so the white backing shows. Place 1/8" Tear n Tape on the longer edges, and Glue Dots on the smaller pieces.
Next, die cut the "front" of the crate from Distressed Gold. Line up the outside edges to the back of the crate, and glue together. Add the Gold Foil "reinforcements" and you now have a cute 3D crate!
Now, stamp the "poinsettia" in Memento ink onto a scrap of White. Color with Blends, as shown. Die cut with corresponding die.
Next, adhere "poinsettia" to inside of "crate". Set aside.
Now, stamp a portion of "poinsettia" to corner of other White square in Memento ink. Color this one in as well, and attach to inside of "Z". Now, you're ready to attach the "Z" strip to the base.
Center the "Z" on the inside, back piece and attach. Add adhesive to half of the front of the "Z" and attach to the front flap, creating the "double "Z" fold.
Now, you can add the "crate", to the front.
Finish with Gold Festive Pearls.
