As Carmen & I were creating last Saturday, my goal was to use all the pieces! With the completion of this sample, that goal was met! This card was inspired by a card created by Amy Koenders. It uses the Garden Walk DSP along with the Online Exclusive Radiating Stitches Dies, as well as the Wild Flowers in the Crate! Easy, classy card! Enjoy!
Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock (ret): 1/2 sheet, 3 1/8" x 3 1/4"
- Garden Walk DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 5 1/4" (inside)
- Mossy Meadow: 2" square
- Pecan Pie (N): scrap
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 3" x 4 1/4"
To Make This Card:
- Attach DSP to folded Pretty Peacock base. Center the Pretty Peacock piece to front with the slightly wider side parallel with the fold.
- Adhere larger, White piece to inside, along with 1/2" strip of DSP.
- Stamp "wild flowers" in Pretty Peacock ink onto piece of White. Cut out with Radiating Stitches Dies, so that the tallest "flower" is actually caught in the stitching. (you need to do this so that the "crate" fits).
- Color "wild flowers" with both shades of Mossy Meadow Blends.
- Stamp "crate" in Pecan Pie ink onto scrap of Pecan Pie Cardstock. Cut out with corresponding die and attach to White piece with Dimensionals.
- Attach this piece to the front of card, centering over Peacock Piece.
- Stamp and emboss sentiment in White onto scrap of Mossy Meadow. Cut out with Stitched Circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Attach to card, with Dimensionals, as shown.
- Finish with scattered Blooming Pearls (new).
