One of the gals at my table at the Crop was making these Panoramic Z-Fold cards for a card swap. She made them using the One Horse Open Sleigh "scenic" DSP. I think she made one from each DSP design! I was fascinated. And, always on the look-out for new folds, I gave this one a try! It is SO COOL!! This one uses a Pool Party DSP piece, along with a coordinating DSP strip embossed with our cool, new Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder! It look so much better IRL!!
Measurements:
- Pool Party: 1/2 sheet, scrap
- Basic White: 1 3/4" x 5 1/4", scrap
- One Horse Open Sleigh DSP (N): 1-6"x6" sheet of DSP, 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" strip of coordinating DSP (I used the "snow" from the piece with the fox)
To Make This Card:
- Fold the Pool Party base in half. Score from the front edge at 1 1/2". Fold back creating a "mini" Z fold! Crease well.
- Cut the 6"x6" piece at 2 3/4", 1 1/8", with 2 1/8" left.
- Starting on the inside. First attach the White piece, leaving 1/8" edge.
- Next, add the 2 1/8" piece.
- Then, with the card closed in place, attach the 2 3/4" piece so that it just hides the White layer on the right side, and attaches to the front back fold with 1/8" edge.
- Now, open the card out flat, and adhere the 1 1/8" piece between the 2 main pieces, finishing the panorama! Isn't that cool.
- Now, to finish the remaining front. I embossed the White DSP strip with the new, Snowflake Sky embossing folder.
- Attach this piece to the card front, near the fold. The cut edge will be under the folded back piece.
- Lastly, stamp sentiment in Early Espresso and mount onto Pool Party piece, then attach to card where desired.
- Stamp desired sentiment on White panel. (This one was PERFECT. My aunt had it in her stash!)
- FInish with scattered Snowflakes, and Pool Party Rhinestones.
