I was looking for an idea using the "star burst" die from the Stars at Night bundle. I saw this card and decided to give it a try! It looks lovely cut from the "Milky Way" DSP from the O Holy Night DSP. I paired it with some silver glitter paper, and it truly does look like the Milky Way! You really have it see this one in person! It glitters and shines!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 1 1/2" x 3 1/2" (sentiment)
- O Holy Night DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
- Silver Glitter: scraps
To Make This Card:
- Die cut "star burst" from upper, center of DSP piece.
- Attach this to folded White base.
- Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy, onto smaller piece. Die cut with coordinating die. Attach to card with Dimensionals.
- Die cut 1 large star, 2 long stars, and 2 square stars from Silver Glitter paper.
- Adhere the largest star to the center of the "star burst". Scatter the rest of the stars in a pleasing manner.
- Finish with new, faceted gem in the center of the largest star.
