I love to think outside the box and get away from the "traditional" red and green for Christmas. I saw a version of this card in Pool Party and Silver that I fell in love with! I almost used this sample for our stamp club, but decided to keep it for later! This picture doesn't do it justice! It's gorgeous IRL. It just sparkles!!
Measurements:
- Pool Party: 1/2 sheet, 4 1/4" square (label)
- Smokey Slate: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", 1 1/4" x 4"
- Silver Foil: scraps
- Silver Glitter: scraps
To Make This Card:
- Attach the Smokey Slate layer to the folded Pool Party Card base.
- Die cut the "detailed label" from the Pool Party piece. Place onto White layer and lightly mark placement with placement, noting where "clusters" are located.
- Stamp 2 "pine boughs" in Smokey Slate onto White layer above & below pencil lines. Now, you can attach this to the card base.
- Die cut 2 "sprigs" from Silver Foil.
- Die cut 2 "holly leaves" from Adhesive Backed Silver Glitter Specialty Paper.
- Lay the "label" back onto card front, and add "sprigs" and "holly leaves" directly to card base.
- Now, you can add "detailed label" over all with Dimensionals.
- Next, stamp and emboss sentiment in Silver Embossing powder. Note: This "Merry Christmas" is 2 words, so arrange both onto an "H" block, and work with these as one stamp!
- Die cut with corresponding "label" die, and attach to "detailed label".
- Finish with small silver trimmed bow, and our gorgeous Glitter Dots on the "berries" on the "detailed label" as well as scattered on the card. Just so sparkley.
