Originally, I had just pre-ordered this gorgeous paper... Then, I started seeing some gorgeous, simple cards that also used the coordinating dies, and then had to break down and get the entire bundle! Which is now available in the Online Exclusives Store, while supplies last! It pairs the beautiful scenic Meandering Meadows DSP, with the stitched arch in the dies! Add a background of an Embossing Folder of your choice, along with, perhaps a sentiment, and voila, your are done! So many possibilities. I am also including one done with the All About Autumn DSP, which sadly, is no longer available. Info for that version is in parenthesis.
Measurements:
- Basic White (Copper Clay): 1/2 sheet, (scraps)
- Basic White (Crumb Cake): 4" x 5 1/4".
- Meandering Meadow DSP (N) (All About Autumn): 3 1/4" x 4" - purposefully select area to die cut with arch.
To Make This Card:
- Die cut "arch: from front, White (Crumb Cake) layer. (I saved the insert for my sentiment.)
- Next, emboss this piece with the "arch" removed. I like something that looks like a "wall", so I used both the new, Exposed Brick Embossing Folder on the White version, and the retired Brick Embossing Folder on the Crumb Cake.
- Now, die cut the "arch", again, selecting the part that you would like showing through the "arch". I die cut this and inserted it through the opening. But, you could also just center the area of the DSP that you would like showing through the opening, and attach it behind.
- Now, you can attach this to the folded White (Copper Clay) card base.
- Stamp sentiment of your choice onto scrap of White (Copper Clay). Cut out with a pleasing label die, so that it doesn't distract from the scenery! Then attach to card front with Dimensionals.
- FInish with a new Dragonfly Trinket and Gold Brushed Dots.
