I just love the patterns in the Free, SAB Bloom Impressions DSP!! The color combinations...just stunning! I love the rich Blackberry Bliss with the Petunia Pop, which just...pops! This one is paired with the Heart Shaped (also SAB) bundle. Such a neat card, with a Fun Fold to boot! We'll have to do this one next month in class!
Measurements:
- Petunia Pop (N): 1/2 sheet, 2 3/4" square
- Blackberry Bliss: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" (inside), 3 1/8" x 5 3/8" (front); 2 5/8" square
- Basic White: 4' x 5 1/4" (inside), 2 3/4" square (heart), scrap
- Fresh Freesia: scraps
- Coastal Cabana: scraps
- Adhesive Sheet: 2 3/4" square (heart)
- Bloom Impressions DSP (N) (SAB): 3" x 5 1/4"; 1" x 5 1/4" (Purple Flowers)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Petunia Pop card in half, and then remove 1" from front flap. (We will use this for the "arm") Trim 1" strip down to 3 1/2", and score at 1/2", crease.
- Next, place Tear n Tape onto 1/2" extension. Adhere to inside of card, do the crease is flush with the cut edge. Fold "arm" up.
- Adhere 1" DSP piece to right side of White inside piece. Then, adhere this to the Blackberry Bliss inside piece.
- Now, add this piece inside the card, and over the "arm".
- Stamp "detailed" heart in Petunia Pop ink, and sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink.
- Next, "sandwich" the "arm" between the Petunia Pop and Blackberry Bliss squares, centering the square over the front panel.
- Attach adhesive sheet to White square and die cut "detailed" heart. Peel off backing and add to Blackberry Bliss square.
- Now, die cut small "leaves" (2x) from the Coastal Cabana scraps, and 3 flowers from Fresh Freesia scraps.
- Arrange flowers, as shown. I popped up the center flower with a Mini Dimensional.
- Stamp sentiment onto scrap of White in Blackberry Bliss ink. Die cut with included label die, so that the words are more to the left end of the label.
- Attach to card, as shown, with Dimensionals.
- Finish with a Fresh Freesia knot tied around the "arm", and new, SAB Purple Sequins in the center of the flowers.
