I saw a version of this card that used the Linked Together Decorative MASKS for the "lattice" effect, however I decided to try the actual DIES! I love how it turned out! I paired the "lattice" die with the new Everyday Arches Dies in the Online Store, with the flowers from the Memorable Blooms stamp set. I just LOVE how it turned out! So much so, we'll be learning how to make this card in my monthly class this week!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 1/2 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4", 3" x 4 1/4" (lattice), scraps (to stamp)
- Bloom Impressions (N)(SAB): 2 3/4" x 4" (Watercolor Blue)
To Make This Card:
- Die cut "lattice" from smaller White piece. Attach to DSP with Multipurpose Glue and set aside.
- Die cut arch from 5th smallest arch, from the top layer of White. Then, run through the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.
- Next, attach "lattice" piece to wrong side of arched opening, and then adhere to folded White card base.
- Now, stamp 3 of the smaller clusters of flowers in Memento Black ink onto scrap of White. Color with Blends, as shown, and then die cut with corresponding die.
- Attach to card front with a combination of Dimensionaled and flat application.
- Finish with Iridescent Pearls for small flower centers, and Iridescent Faceted Gems for the large flowers and scattered around.
- Add some Wink of Stella to the flowers, if desired.
