If you haven't noticed the gorgeous Wildflower Birthday DSP (with dies cuts) in the Mini Catalog, you need to go take a look! It's a lovely mix of soft and intense colors, along with a touch of gold accents. And, the die cuts are just stunning! This is a version that I saw that also uses the "lattice" frame from the Linked Together Dies, also in the Mini Catalog. I just love that frame, and I am looking for ways to use it! Be sure to take a look!!
Measurements:
- Soft Sea Foam: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" (front layer), 2 3/4" x 4 1/8" (embossed layer), 3" x 4 1/4" (lattice), 2 3/8" square (circle), 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
- Gold Foil: 2 5/8" square
- Wildflower Birthday (N): 3 3/8" x 4 5/8", 1/2" x 5 1/4" (Soft Sea Foam print), die cut
To Make This Card:
- Attach Soft Sea Foam DSP piece to White front layer (larger piece). This is a tight fit with only 1/16" edge. Adhere to folded Sea Foam card base.
- Run "embossed" piece through Timber Embossing Folder. Set aside.
- Die cut other piece with "lattice" die. Adhere to embossed piece with Multipurpose Glue.
- Now, add to card front, as shown.
- Die cut the smallest "radiating circle" from the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Set aside.
- In order to get a circle just a tad bigger than this circle I had to resort to my retired favorite Stitched Shapes!
- Layer the 2 circles together. Select a die cut that you would like to use, and adhere to the center of the circle. I kind of like the cupcakes, too!. The cake slice I had to fussy cut from one of the panels!
- Attach the circles to the card front with Dimensionals.
- Finish inside with large, White layer, the strip of Soft Sea Foam DSP, and a die cut.
- Finish outside, with small gold cord bow, and scattered pink, SAB Purple Sequins.
