I found this gorgeous card on Susan Campfields' blog, and fell in love! Such a simple layout with so many possibilities! She shared 3. It uses the recolored Serene Love DSP and Heartfelt Hexagon stamps, both in the Online Store, and on sale, and the Hexagon Punch in the annual catalog. You really need to give this one a try!
Measurements:
- Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet, 3/8" x 3 3/4"
- Basic White: 2 pcs @ 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
- Serene Love DSP (OE): 2" x 3 3/4" (stripe), 3" x 3 3/4", 3/4" x 3 3/4" (floral)
To Make This Card:
- Adhere one White piece to folded Night of Navy card base.
- Attach stripe to bottom, as shown and floral above. The cut edges may or may not meet in the center. Now it looks like 2 pieces of wallpaper meeting!
- Add Night of Navy "chair rail" over cut edges.
- Stamp border and sentiment of your choice in Night of Navy ink onto scrap of White. Punch out with coordinating punch.
- Attach to card with Dimensionals.
- To create inside, adhere other White piece to inside. Attach strip of DSP as shown, and then stamp sentiment of your choice in Night of Navy ink.
- To finish outside, add Opal Rounds as shown.
