My aunt point out this cool card that Sharon Armstrong shared on her Monday night Mystery Stamping a few weeks back. Needless to say I was fascinated. Have done several of this type of card before, but never landscape, and never with so much inspiration! So, since I am visiting her this week, we decided to try it out together! For mine, I used the Celebratory Sips DSP and pretty much made it identical to Sharon's. My aunt, on the other hand went "rogue" and used some just retired DSP, a cool retired die/frame, and a current sentiment! They are both so different!! I LOVE how they turned out!
Measurements:
- Berry Burst: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, scrap
- Celebratory Sips DSP (OE): 4 1/4" x 11" (inside), 4" x 5 1/4" (front), fussy cut "drinks")
- Basic White: 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" scrap
To Make This Card:
- Adhere DSP to front of folded Berry Burst card base.
- Score the strip of DSP on the long side @ 3" - 4" - 5"- 6" - 7"- 8" - 9". Accordion fold this strip, starting with a "valley" fold.
- Add the accordion folded DSP piece to the inside of the card base, lining it up so the it is about 1/4" from the right side and centered from top to bottom. Repeat for the other side.
- Stamp sentiment on White piece in Berry Burst ink, near the top, leaving room to sign at the bottom. Adhere to inside of card.
- Stamp sentiment for the front, in Memento Black ink. Punch out Labeled with Love Punch. Mount onto split Berry Burst punched layer. Attach to card front with Dimensionals.
- Fussy cut 2 "drinks" from sheet of DSP. Adhere to front of card with Dimensionals.
- Finish with scattered Strawberry Slush gems.
