Beautiful Gallery Explosion/Book Binder Card

Here is another sample of this neat "combo" card! This sample utilizes the gorgeous, new Beautiful Gallery DSP!! This is a perfect way to make the most of this DSP!! This sample utilizes one of the awesome floral images which is paired with the rich, new Secret Sea color. It is just stunning, in person.

Measurements:

Secret Sea: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
Beautiful Gallery (N) : 4" square, 6" square (explosion), 1" x 4"
Basic White: 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" square, scrap

To Make This Card:

Score Secret Sea card base, at 4 1/4" - 5 1/2", creating a "Book Binder" fold card! Crease well.
Adhere 1" strip DSP to "binding" area.
Wrap ribbon around "binding" area, and adhere to the wrong side.
Now, you can place Tear n Tape onto the the "binding", and adhere to inside card.
Next, you can tie the "knot" of the ribbon.
Adhere square DSP to card front.
Now, now for the "explosion" inside. If you've ever done these, it will come right back to you. If you haven't, have fun! It will stick with you!
Take the 6" square and fold in half, in both directions. Score well with a Bone Folder. Then, flip over and fold diagonally, but only on one diagonal. Crease well.
Flip back over and pinch these to areas to the inside, making a 3" square. And, tada, you are done!
Place adhesive on the "back" side, and place inside card at a diagonal, so all point touch an edge. Then place adhesive on the "front" side and close front into place!
Now, try your "masterpiece"!
To finish the inside, I cut 2 3/4" squares for 2 of the squares on the "explosion". One I stamped a sentiment, and one I stamped a flower, both in Secret Sea ink. Then I adhered them to the "explosion", on opposite sides.
For the outside, I selected a "label" from the More Messages Bundle, and added it to the card front with Dimensional.
To finish the outside, I added some Cloud Cover Flat Pearls to the label.
