Here is another version, and my favorite, of the Layered Circle technique! This one uses some foiled Brightly Gleaming DSP, with some rich coordinating colors!!
Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock: ½ Sheet, 3” square, 1 ¾” square, scraps
- Very Vanilla: 4” x 5 ¼”, 5/8” x 4” strip
- Night of Navy: 3 1/8” square, 1 ¾” square
- Brightly Gleaming DSP (N): 2 ¾” square
- Copper
Foil: 2 7/8” square, 1 ¾” square
To Make this Card:
- Run Very Vanilla quarter through Textiles Embossing Folder, and attach to folded Pretty Peacock card.
- Cut largest circle from Night of Navy.
- Cut 2nd largest circle from Pretty Peacock and larger Copper Foil.
- Cut 3rd smallest circle from Pretty Peacock and Copper Foil.
- Cut smaller Night of Navy from smallest Stitched Circle.
- Cut DSP from 2nd largest Stitched Circle.
- Cut 2 “leaves” (one each size) from Pretty Peacock.
- Cut each circle in half – except for the small, stitched Night of Navy circle.
- Layer “bottom” 4 halves together, lining up the top cut edge and the far left side.
- Layer the “top” 3 halves together, also lining up the bottom cut edge and far right side, as shown.
- Attach to Vanilla card, lining up the DSP circles.
- Stamp message onto strip of Vanilla. “Flag” the end with Paper Snips. Attach to card over circle “seam”
- Add full stitched circle as last circle, over cut edge of strip. Finish with 2 die cut leaves and 3 Iridescent Pearls.
