I LOVE these Slimline cards!! You can do just about anything with them that you can a standard card. Try this "twist" of a Slimline - a Tri-Fold card. It's really simple, and quite elegant! Once I made this one that I saw, I thought of several others!! So, stay tuned!!
Measurements:
- Real Red: 8 1/2" square, 1 3/4" x 4 3/4", 2 1/2' X 7 3/4"
- Very Vanilla: 2 3/8" x 4 1/4" , 2 3/8" x 7 1/2"
- Poinsettia Place DSP (N): 2 pcs 3 1/4" x 8 1/4", 1 1/2" x 8 1/4"
- Brushed Metallics (N): 2" x 3"
- Vellum: 2" x 3"
To Make this Card:
- Score card at 3 3/8", 6 7/8". Crease well.
- Attach DSP to corresponding flaps; inside and then 2 outside pieces. Mount to longer pieces to inside, stamp desired message in Soft Suede.
- Cut Stitched Nested die from Real Red, then smaller one from Very Vanilla. Stamp greeting in Soft Suede onto Vanilla piece and then layer together.
- Mount half of "label" to front of card as shown. Attach 2 "sprigs" of Tarnished Copper and 2 "sprigs" of vellum to front of card.
- Finish with a red bow. Note: To help keep this closed, I like to finish these with a small velcro dot that I get at the Fabric Store!
