I just found this card originally designed by Leeann Greff using the Beauty of Friendship stamp set that is currently on sale! I just loved the colors and the card fold. I haven't done this Latch Fold in a few months...
Measurements:
- Pool Party: 1/2 sheet, 3 1/4" x 3 1/2", scraps
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 1 7/8" x 5 1/4", 2 1/2" x 3"
- Thick White: 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" (label)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Pool Party card in half. Remove 2 1/8" from front of card. Discard this piece.
- Stamp the "tree" in Soft Succulent onto 1 7/8" strip and 2 1/2" layer. Stamp multiple times in several "generations".
- Now, go back and add a couple trees in Evening Evergreen, full strength.
- Next, using a Blending Brush, add Pool Party ink to the top of both pieces. Then, add Soft Succulent ink to the bottoms.
- Attach narrow piece to front flap.
- Now, take the other Pool Party piece and score along the 3 1/2" side of other piece at 3/4" Crease well.
- Attach corresponding piece to this piece, as shown.
- Place Tear & Tape on under side of 3/4" extension. Attach to White inside layer where desired. (Note: I place mine a little lower, but centering is ok, too.)
- Now, adhere this piece to the inside of card.
- Stamp sentiment in Evening Evergreen onto Thick White. Cut out with 2nd to the largest tag die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Sponge around outside edges with Soft Succulent ink, if desired.
- Fold the right flap over the left. Add Dimensionals to the far left of the "label" and add to card, so the right flap is tucked under the "label".
- Cut 2 "birds" from Pool Party scrap. Attach as shown with Mini Dimensionals.
- Finish inside White piece by lightly brushing some Pool Party ink on top and Soft Succlent near the bottom. Then stamp one tree in Soft Succlent.
- Finish card by attaching Pool Party Wave Rhinestones as shown.
