This sample, using the Waves of Inspiration Bundle, is a combination of several cards that I have seen. Notice the shading of the "wave". It was done using 3 colors of ink, sponge daubers and a Stamparatus! I LOVE how it turned out! A picture doesn't do it justice!
Measurements:
- Coastal Cabana: 1/2 sheet
- Pacific Point" 4" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", scraps
To Make This Card:
- Layer Pacific Point piece onto folded Coastal Cabana card.
- Attach "wave" stamp onto one Stamparatus plate so it will stamp in the corner of the White layer.
- Now, ink up the "wave" stamp with Coastal Cabana ink and stamp onto White piece.
- Next, ink up a sponge dauber with Pacific Point ink, and add additional color directly onto "wave" stamp, deepening some areas. Stamp. Add more highlights, if desired.
- And, lastly, add Night of Navy shadows, if desired. This is such a neat way to shade a stamp, especially one as large as the "wave"!
- To add a little color to the background, add some light Coastal Cabana with a Blending Brush. Now this piece is ready to attach to your card front.
- Next, stamp "pelican" in Night of Navy onto scrap of white. Cut out with corresponding die. Attach to card with Dimensionals.
- Cut out "clouds" from White cardstock. Assemble together and add to card.
- Stamp some random "seagulls" in Night of Navy.
- Finish with Wink of Stella on the "wave", and some scattered "Wave" Rhinestones.
