Waves of Inspiration Tri Fold + Video

I found many Fun Folds using this bundle.  I decided to try one using what I call a "Tri Fold". For my version, I used a Window Sheet in the front "window", a fun layered "wave", a "blended" sky, and some embossed clouds! I LOVE how it turned out!!

Measurements:

  • Pacific Point: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
  • Basic White: 4" x 10 1/2" , scraps
  • Waves of the Ocean DSP (N): 2 3/4" x 5 3/4"
  • Blue Foils (N): 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", scraps
  • Adhesive Sheet: 2 3/4" x 5 3/4"
  • Window Sheet: 3 1/2" x 4 1/2"
To Make This Card:

  • Fold Pacific Point base in half.  Crease well with Bone Folder. With the fold on the left side, cut "window" using the largest Scallop Die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies from the front of card. You will not need this cut out piece.
  • Next, we'll move to the inside, white card.  Fold this piece in half.  Set up your Stamparatus, so that the "wave" stamp will stamp in the lower left corner of the card.  With the fold on the RIGHT, place this card in the Stamparatus and stamp in Pacific Point ink. Remove.
  • Next, take a Blending Brush and the Pacific Point ink and blend in a light blue "sky".
  • Now, you can attach this to the INSIDE of the Pacific Point card.
  • Next, place Adhesive Sheet onto back of DSP. Cut out "wave" of your choice.
  • Cut another "wave" from Navy Foil...again, your choice.  (I used the same "wave" for both)
  • To finish the front of card, place narrow Tear n Tape on the WRONG side of the "window".  Remove backing from Tear n Tape and attach Window Sheet to this WRONG side.
  • Remove the backing from the Adhesive Sheet on the DSP "wave". Attach to front of card so it lines up over stamped wave, and adhere to Window Sheet.
  • Place your adhesive of choice onto the RIGHT side of the Navy Foil. Adhere to the WRONG side of the card, lining up to both the DSP and stamped image.  This is an awesome 3D dimension that will look different every time!
  • To complete your card, cut 2 large and 1 small "cloud" from dies. To enhance the embossed detail, you can use your Silicone Sheet to press the detail into the cardstock!!!
  • After you have cut out your "clouds", reset you "sandwich" with the #1 base, no #2 plate, one #3 plate, die with the cut "cloud" still in the die facing UP, Silicone Sheet, #4 plate. (I will be doing a video). Run through your Die Cutting Machine.  And, voila...too cool!!
  • Add these "clouds" to your scene, checking to see how it looks through your "window".
  • I also added a few Die Cut "seagulls" in the Navy Foil and Glossy White.
  • Finish by adding a couple "seagulls" to the inside.
