Originally, I just got the amazing dies in the Branching Out Bundle! I don't do well with stamp sets that are a bazillion pieces! However, after seeing so many cool ideas, and broke down and got it, to say nothing of all the amazing sentiments! I found this card designed by LeeAnn Greff, and knew I had to give it a try. The stamps really speak for themselves, and are really easy to use. And the shape dies, what can I say? I LOVE them!
Measurements:
- Early Espresso: 1/2 sheet (card base), 4 3/4" x 7" (smaller card), 3" x 4 3/8" (die cut)
- Old Olive: 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
- Very Vanilla: 2 5/8" x 4" (die cut), 3 1/4" x 4 1/2" (inside)
- Need for Tweed (OE): 2" x 5 1/4"
To Make this Card:
- Fold Early Espresso card base in half. Remove 2" from card front.
- Adhere DSP to front flap. Set aside.
- Score smaller Early Espresso card @ 3 1/2". Crease well.
- Emboss Old Olive piece with Birch Wood 3D Embossing folder. Adhere to front small card base.
- Die cut the Early Espresso layer and the Very Vanilla layer from the dies that will fit the cardstock!
- Stamp the "branch" in Early Espresso, the "pine needles" in Old Olive, and the "pine cones" in Pecan Pie onto the Vanilla layer. Stamp the speckle in stamped off Pecan Pie.
- Add sentiment in Pecan Pie ink as well.
- Adhere the 2 layers together, and then to the front of the smaller card with the FOLD ON THE RIGHT SIDE with Dimensionals!
- Now, stamp the inside Vanilla piece with branches, pines and sentiments as shown. Adhere inside.
- Next, place Tear n Tape on the back of the smaller card. Center this inside the larger card, and adhere.
- Finish with an Early Espresso Bakers Twine bow, and scattered Streaked Dots.
