Wild Bunch Side-Trimmed Card

This darling card was designed using the POTM, Wild Bunch (since sold out) and the new Gingham Gallery DSP (July OnLine Exclusives). The designer made a set of these using the various animals in the set, along with the new DSP in the new InColors! They are just too cute! I hope to create the others as well, they are so fun!  This one we will be making at my Senior class on Monday!

Measurements:

  • Crisp Cantaloupe (N): 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, 3" square
  • Basic White: 2 3/4" square, 4" x 5 1/4" (inside)
  • Gingham Gallery DSP (N (OE)): 4" square (Crisp Cantaloupe check)
To Make this Card:

  • First, remove 1 1/4" from front of folded card base.
  • Then, adhere White piece to inside.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Wild Bunch set in black ink, on the "extension" as shown. Close the front. If you can't see the entire sentiment, then shave off a little of the front.
  • Next, add DSP to front, either side will work! Fit this a little first, if you needed to trim a bit.
  • Finish, the "extension" by stamping hearts in Crisp Cantaloupe ink
  • Now, die cut largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies.
  • Also, cut the 2nd from the largest square in Basic White
  • Stamp the "snail" in black onto White square. Also, stamp sentiment in black ink, and a couple hearts in Crisp Cantaloupe ink.
  • Color the "snail shell" in Crisp Cantaloupe and Crumb Cake Blends. Add some Crumb Cake beneath the "snail" to "ground" it.
  • Now, add the Crisp Cantaloupe square, cocking it a little bit.
  • Take the White square and add adhesive to the back to attach the ribbon. Fold the ribbon loosely in half and adhere to adhesive, criss-crossing it in the back, until you like the effect.
  • Then, add to the card front with Dimensionals.
  • Finish with scattered Pearlized Faceted Circles.
