Once again, all you really need is the DSP (and a sentiment)!! So many of our papers are just gorgeous and can stand alone on a coordinating card base with a sentiment! This sample uses the sheet that has printed borders on either side. Cut correctly, you can get 6 awesome cards with floral backgrounds! I took those pieces and created cards, cutting those pieces apart (but you can just as easily just adhere them to your card base!) For this sample, I cut 3 pieces in varying widths, and then reassembled them onto a Mossy Meadow layer. Add a sentiment, and those darling butterflies, and voila, you are done!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" , scrap
- Dainty Flowers DSP (N): 1/6 border print (4" x 6" pc, trimmed to 3 3/4" x 5")
- Mossy Meadow: 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
To Make This Card:
- Trim DSP into 3 pieces of varying widths. Mine are approx 1 1/2", 1 1/4", 1". I had to shave off a little paper to allow for a narrow border.
- Attach these to Mossy Meadow piece, then attach to folded White card.
- Stamp sentiment in Mossy Meadow ink onto scrap of White. Punch out with smooth oval, and then mount onto scalloped Mossy Meadow layer.
- Attach this to card with Dimensionals.
- Finish with scattered Brass Butterflies.
