Pretty Impressions Abloom

This idea just "spoke to me"! I love the clean color combination along with the images on the wide oval dies from the Impressions Abloom dies. I did this card Monday with my "advanced" Senior Center class, and they loved it. It allowed them to be a "floral designer" as I gave them the components for the focal point, a little guidance, and they did their own thing!

Measurements:

Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet, 3 3/8" x 4 1/4" (oval), scraps (use piece removed)
Garden Green: scraps
Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), 3 3/8" x 4 1/4" (oval), scraps
Adhesive Sheet: 1 3/4" x 3 1/2" (Navy stem)
Serene Love DSP (OE): 2" x 5 1/4", 1/2" x 5 1/4" (Navy Stripe)

To Make this Card:

Remove 2 1/8" from front of folded Night of Navy card base.
Add White piece inside.
Adhere DSP to remaining front flap and DSP strip to inside.
For the wide oval, die cut the Navy "base" with the larger oval die. Die cut the White center from the double oval die. Toss the outside "rim". Adhere the 2 together.
On scrap of White, 2-step stamp 2 Poppy Parade flowers. Stamp the "detail", first, full strength, then stamp "solid" off. Also, stamp 1 Azure Afternoon flower the same way. Die cut with corresponding die, either with, or without, the detail.
Place strip of adhesive onto removed Navy piece, and die cut "stem". Then cut 3 "fillers"
Next, die cut 3 leaves in Garden Green.
Now to "arrange" the flowers. Remove the backing of the adhesive from the "stem", and place on the oval, near the left side.
Next, place one Poppy flower on the tallest "stem", flush with the oval.
Pop up the Azure flower on the other "stem", and the lastly, add the final Poppy so it creates a triangle. This one is tucked in and popped up with Dimensionals, too.
Then, tuck in the Navy "fillers", and "leaves" so suit yourself!
Stamp sentiment in Night of Navy, where it will fit! Mine is from the Unbounded Love stamp set, now in the Online Store.
Now, we'll add the oval to the front of card. Attach the left side ONLY to the card front, leaving the right side free!
Finish with a White bow and Silver Sparkle gems.
