What can be cuter than our darling, new tote filled with Forest Friends and a few flowers? This card can! I have no idea who the original designer was of this creation, but I love it! It takes a little time to make, but most cute cards do!
Measurements:
- Bubble Bath: 1/2 sheet, scraps
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", scraps for flowers and critters
- Gray Granite: 1 1/4" x 3 1/4"
- Lemon Lolly: scraps
- Soft Sea Foam: scraps
- Woven Textures DSP(OE): 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
To Make this Card:
- Run the White layer through the newly retired Exposed Brick 3D Embossing folder. Attach to folded Bubble Bath card base.
- Die cut "tote" from piece of Woven Textures DSP.
- Die cut "bottom (with decorative strips)" and "handle", from Gray Granite.
- Fold back the 2 ends and bottom of the "tote". Remove the "gusset" on one end (you only need this for the actually 3D tote). You can glue these back out of the way, if desired, or leave them lose for more dimension.
- Now, attach decorative Gray Granite "bands" to the bag. And, then the "bottom" of the bag, and the "handle".
- Add 1/8" Tear n Tape to the outside edges and bottom of "tote. Attach to card, where desired.
- Next, stamp the 3 "critters" from the Peekaboo Forest in the Online Store in Memento Black ink onto scrap of White. Color in with Blends as shown. (The "bear" is Lemon Lolly, the "racoon" is Gray Granite, and the "porcupine" is Crumb Cake). Die cut with cooresponding dies. I like to accent the eyes with a Black Gel pen! Set aside.
- Now, die cut 3 White "medium" blossoms from the Impressions Abloom dies. I also cut 2 Bubble Bath and 1 Pretty in Pink blossoms (for a total of 5). Also, cut 1 set of Bubble Bath "mini" flowers and 1 set of Pretty in Pink "mini" flowers.
- Oh, and don't forget the flower centers. You need 2 Lemon Lolly and 2 White. I added Wink of Stella to these. I attached the centers flush with the flowers in the "tote" and popped up the Lemon Lolly center on the front flower.
- Oh, and 4-5 Sea Foam Green "leaves". Set all aside.
- Stamp sentiment in Black onto scrap of White and die cut with Happy Little Things Dies in the Online Store.
- Now, to assemble it all! First cut the right "tote handle" at the top of the "tote". Add adhesive to the mounting part of the "bear" and tuck him into the tote with the handle behind him.
- Tuck his 2 friends on either side.
- Put the 2 pink "blossoms" together with Dimensionals. Tuck into "tote" behind "critters".
- Then add the other flowers and several leaves.
- Now, curve the sentiment banner just a little bit.
- Mount 2 White "blossoms" together with Dimensionals. Arrange onto front of "tote". Adhere ends of banner with Mini Glue Dots, and the "blossom flush with "tote".
- Finish with scattered "mini blossoms" with Iridescent Pearl centers.
