Here is another verions of the Origami Square Fold Card. I didn't have enough cardstock for the "ghost" version, so I created this "pumpkin" version for some of my customers to make instead! I love this one, too!
Measurements:
- Basic Gray: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Basic Black: 1 1/8" x 4 1/8", 4" square (inside)
- Basic White: 3 3/4" square (inside)
- Cute Halloween DSP (N): 2 pcs @ 4" square, 7/8" x 3 7/8", scraps to punch
To Make This Card:
- Fold Basic Gray card base in half. Score at 1 1/4" from fold, front side only. Crease the front back well. Place adhesive under this 1 1/4" and glue front and back together.
- Attach Black strip and DSP strip to this left side. Set this aside as we make the Origami Square.
- Now, take the 4" DSP square and fold it in half, open, and then fold it in half the other way. You will now take each point fold it in to the center, where the folds cross. Repeat for all 4 corners. Crease really well with a bone folder!
- Now, take each point and fold it back to the creased edge as shown! Crease well.
- Attach coordinating 4" square to front of card "on point". Attach Square Fold on top.
- Take a scrap of the coordinating DSP and PUNCH out a "pumpkin". Center onto origami square with a Dimensional.
- To do the inside, layer the White and Black together and attach. Punch out 3 "pumpkins" and 2 "cats". Attach to bottom of inside. Stamp a sentiment in Black from the Stamp set.
- Finish with a strip of Black Glitter ribbon down the "spine" (attached at each end with glue dots), with a knot tied around the strip. And, scattered Star Sequins.
