I saw this gorgeous card with the pumpkins layered onto a piece of Expressions in Ink DSP. It also uses the Be Dazzling SAB DSP! I added my twist by "spritzing" the "solid" pumpkin with Cajun Craze ink to color it!! (really cool)! I LOVE how it turned out! We did this one in Stamp Club this month! Love the Be Dazzling DSP?? I do! But it will be gone Sept 30. Place a $50 order and get yours now, while supplies last!!
Measurements:
- Pale Papaya (N): 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 2 3/4" x 2 1/2"
- Expressions in Ink: 4" x 5 1/4"
- Be Dazzlingd (SAB): 2 1/4" x 3 3/4", 2' x 2 3/8"
To Make This Card:
- If you cut this piece of DSP in half, you will end up with 2-6"x12" pieces with this designe on half of each side. This can be cut into 3 pieces each for a total of 6 pcs, which you will need to trim to 4" x 5 1/4". Attach one of these pieces to the folded Pale Papaya card.
- Attach an adhesive sheet to the back of the Be Dazzling Specialty paper. Cut out the "detailed pumpkin". (This makes it so much easier to adhere to your card.)
- Stamp "pumpkin trio" in Memento Black ink onto White piece. Color in with Blends as shown.
- Cut "solid" pumpkin from another sheet of Be Dazzling paper.
- Pour regular Isospril Alcohol into "Spritzer". Add 3 drops of Cajun Craze Reinker. Shake well. Place "solid" pumpkin into a box, and spritz with alcohol & ink, until desired color. This may require more than one layer of color, depending on the color YOU use. This gets pretty saturated. Let dry, flat, for a few and then dry with Heat Tool.
- Arrange "pumpkins" as desired. I popped up the "trio" of pumpkins.
- Finish with sentiment in Memento Black.
