Last month I did a version of this card using greens! But, I really envisioned this in the gorgeous Beauty of the Earth DSP fall tones! I LOVE this card, and the use of the awesome Inspiring Canopy dies and the DSP!
Measurements:
- Merry Merlot: 1/2 sheet
- Beauty of the Earth DSP (N): 2 1/2" x 4", scraps
- Basic White: 1/4 sheet, 2 5/8" x 4"
- Early Espresso: 2 3/4" x 4"
To Make This Card:
- Cut 2 3/4" from top of card. Set this piece aside.
- Add White quarter to inside of card.
- Add DSP piece to front flap.
- Cut "trees" from Early Espresso piece, leaving a bit of "ground" underneath. Trim to fit width of small White piece. You will also need to snip away one "tree". I removed the far right one!
- Attach this to the White piece. Trim away "ground", but leave the "branches" hanging off the piece. Then, attach to the trimmed Merry Merlot piece!
- Cut 2 large, and 2 medium "leaf bundles" from DSP scraps. I also cut one, each of the smaller "leaf bundles", too. Add to tree tops. as shown.
- Wrap ribbon around this layer and tie in a knot.
- Add the bottom of this piece to the front of the card. For this one, I used Dimensionals.
- Stamp sentiment in Cinnamon Cider, so that it "hides" behind the trees, inside.
- Finish with Red Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones.
