Detail Heart Corner Angle Fold Card

After I made the Blushing Bride Heart Card, I grabbed a few remaining die cuts and Specialty Papers that were around me and designed this card!  This also uses the Many Hearts Dies, the Love You Always Specialty Paper and Foil Paper, and the new Pearlescent Paper.  Also added a Die Cut from the Always Dies.

Measurements:  

• Sahara Sand: 1/2 Sheet
• Very Vanilla: 2 pcs - 4" x 5 1/4" (1 is template)
• Love You Always Specialty DSP (N):3 3/4" x 5", 2 3/4" square
• Pearlescent Paper (N): 4" x 5 1/4", 3 3/4" square,  2 3/4" square, scrap
• Love You Always Foil (N) - scrap

To Make This Card: (see video)

• Begin by making the corner "template". Take one of the Very Vanilla pieces.  Measure along the short side 2 3/4" and place a mark.  Then, measure along the long side to 3 1/2" and make a mark.  Draw a line with a pencil, connecting the 2 marks. Cut along this line.  Save the triangle, and discard the rest of the piece. Use it for another card.
• Fold card base in half. Place "template" along upper left corner of card. Score along "pencil" line with Bone Folder.  It should lightly transfer to the back side.  Flip card front over and repeat for the back side. Now, carefully fold along score lines, inverting the corner to the inside of card.
• Take one of the other Very Vanilla pieces, and lay inside the card, leaving an 1/8" border.  Mark the score line and trim this piece.  Trim approx 1/8" from the cut edge.  Check for fit.  Take the small corner you removed, and fit to the upper triangle.
• To layer the outside.  Repeat with the Pearlescent piece. Using the scored/folded edge as a guide to cut your layer, and then repeating with the DSP layer.  Always allowing for an 1/8" border!!
• To decorate the front, cut large heart from "scalloped heart" die and Pearlized Paper. Add a layer of DSP cut from the Specialty DSP, and a "detail heart" cut from the Pearlescent Paper.  Add to front of card.
• Cut "Love" from scrap of Pearlescent Paper, as well as a "shadow" from Sahara Sand Foil.  Adhere to front of card.
• To decorate the inside, attach the Very Vanilla corner, then layer the Specialty DSP cut from the front layer.
• Finish with a Very Vanilla bow.
• Some will also place DSP on the upper, inside flap of card.  Your choice!!

Pink Heart Corner Angle Fold Card

Saw a sample of this fold done with these dies and DSP and fell in LOVE!! This is a combination of several of those samples!! This could be used for a variety of occasions!!  

Measurements:  

• Blushing Bride: 1/2 Sheet
• Basic White: 3 pcs - 4" x 5 1/4"
• Love You Always Specialty DSP (N):3 3/4" x 5", 2 3/4" square, 2 1/4" square
• Love You Always Foil (N) - Blushing Bride: 3 3/4" square, 2 1/2" square, 2" square, 1" x 5 1/4" strip

To Make This Card: (see video)

• To decorate the front, cut large heart from "scalloped heart" die and Blushing Bride Foil.  Add a layer of DSP cut from the Specialty DSP.  Add a bow..
• To decorate the inside, cut the heart border from the Blushing Bride Foil. Punch the scallop heart with the Scallop Heart Punch, the smooth heart from the Specialty DSP and the coordinating Heart Punch.  The final lalyer is from the Many Hearts Dies.
• Some will also place DSP on the upper, inside flap of card.  Your choice!!

Oval Pierced Blooms

I originally saw this card with the other card that I posted using these colors and dies. It was all white.  I didn't like my version, so I tweaked it, and came up with this GORGEOUS card.  You HAVE to see this one IRL We will be making this one in Stampin' Club this month!

Measurements:  

• Very Vanilla: 1/2 sheet, 4" x 5 1/4", 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" (oval), scraps
• Love You Always Specialty Paper (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Love You Always Foil (N): 3 3/8" x 4 1/2"
• Purple Posy: 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
• Pool Party: 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"
• Soft Sea Foam: 2 3/4" x 4 1/4"

To Make This Card:

• Fold Vanilla card in half. Attach foil piece in center of card front.
• Attach Foil Specialty paper to quarter sheet of Very Vanilla with Multipurpose Glue. (I did this because I thought the popped up DSP needed a little more body.  Another option would be to use a Foam Adhesive Sheet.)
• Cut largest oval from Foil Specialty piece.  Set center aside for another project.  Attach this layer to card with Dimensionals. Centering over Foil piece.
• Stamp sentiment in Sahara Sand onto piece of Very Vanilla.  Cut out with Oval that is 2 sizes smaller.  Attach to card inside Oval. I attached this flat, but you could pop this up as well.
• Cut a large and small 5/6 petal flower from Pool Party. Oh, and a small "star" center.  Then, cut a large and small 4 petal flower from Purple Posy.  Then, cut a variety of leaves from Soft Sea Foam.
• Also, cut flower centers of your choice from Very Vanilla scraps.  Add centers to flowers with Mini Glue Dots. Shape a little with your fingers, if desired.
• Arrange larger flowers in lower left corner, and smaller flowers in upper corner.  I attached these to the card with a combination of Mini Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.
• Finish with pearls in the center of the flowers.

Rococo Rose Foil Wreath

This card uses a delightful mix of "old" and "new"!  The Wreath Builder Dies that many of you already have, and the beautiful new foils and specialtly papers in the new January-June Mini Catalog!!

Measurements:  

• Sahara Sand: 1/2 sheet 
• Love You Always Specialty DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4" (Sand), 4" square (Rococo)
• Love You Always Foil (N): 4" square (Rococo), scraps (Sand)

To Make This Card

• Attach Sahara Sand DSP to folded Sahara Sand card.
• Cut "sprig" wreath from Rococo Rose DSP, and "smooth leafy" wreath from Rococo Rose Foil. Attach to card with Multipurpose glue.  I had the "sprigs" on top. But either way works!
• Cut the cut-out "Love" heart from the center of the Rose Foil Wreath!  It does work! You will also need one small "heart".
• Cut small "hearts", bow, and 2 "doves" from Sahara Sand Foil. Note: you will need to flip the Foil to cut the reverse "dove". Make sure you have a scratch-free plate underneath, or your "dove" will be scratched!
• Attach the "hearts" and "bow" to the wreath with Mini Glue Dots.
• Attach a scrap of Sahara Sand Foil behind the "LOVE" in the heart.  Then attach foild "heart" in the center of the heart.
• Finish with adding the 2 "doves" to the bottom with a Rose Foil heart!

Blushing Bride Foil Heart

 I finally had time to play with products from the new Love You Always Mega Suite!  This sample uses the absolutely STUNNING Love You Always Specialty DSP and Foil.  They just shimmer and shine!  They are a MUST HAVE for your cardmaking this Spring!! I also added some retired Copper Embossing. The photo doesn't do this card justice.  It's just beautiful!

Measurements:  

• Blushing Bride: 1/2 sheet, 2 1/2" square (heart)
• Love You Always DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
• Blushing Bride Foil (N): 4 1/4" x 4 1/2"

To Make This Card:

• Attach Specialty DSP to folded Blushing Bride card.
• Cut "detailed heart" from Blushing Bride Foil. Note: the inside heart DOES cut out! Save this for another project!! Attach to card with Multipurpose Glue.
• Cut center "heart" from square of Blushing Bride.  To do this, you will need to just cut out the heart.  You will have a little "ruffle" of the detail that you discard..
• Emboss or stamp the sentiment of your choice in the center.  There are several to choose from in this set that will fit nicely in the heart. Adhere to center of "detailed heart"
• Finish with a bow from our new Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon and a few scattered Champagne Rhinestones.
