I was asked to share the Layering Diorama Dies at Stamp Club this month. I decided to pair it with the detailed Sea Life Dies. I created this sample from a similar one that I saw online. Love the gold veins of the Expressions in Ink DSP and the Gold Foil accent pieces.
Measurements:
- Shaded Spruce: 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE
- Mint Macaron: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", scrap
- Expressions in Ink (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
- Gold Foil:4" x 4 1/2"
To Make This Card:
- Fold Shaded Spruce card in half. Cut large Diorama Layer from front of card.
- Run front of card through Tasteful Textile EF.
- Cut 1 smaller Diorama Layer in Mint Macaron layer. Layer behind opening in Shaded Spruce and adhere together.
- Add DSP to inside of card.
- Cut 1 "seahorse", 1 "coral", and 2 "fish" (same die) from Gold Foil.
- Attach the "seahorse" to DSP through openings.
- Using a "pokey tool" lift the detail from the "coral" and "fish scales". Attach to card as shown. I attached the "fish" with Dimensionals.
- Finish with a sentiment stamped in Shaded Spruce onto Mini Macaron and cut out with an Ornate Frame.
- Finish with knot of Gold Shimmer Ribbon.
