I saw another version of this Spanner Card, that I thought was just awesome! I love the pairing of the SAB Awesome Otter with the SAB Simply Marbelous DSP!.....a FREE Card!! Isn't it just delightful!
Measurements:
- Balmy Blue: 1/2 sheet, 1 1/4" x 5 1/2", 2 1/2" square
- Basic White: 2 1/4" square, 3" x 4"
- Simply Marbelous DSP (N): 4 pcs 1" x 4", 1 pc 1" x 5 1/4", 2 3/4" x 4" (center)
To Make This Card:
- Fold Balmy Blue card in half. Crease well. Now, cut from cut edge to fold 1 1/4" on each side.
- Attach short 1" strips to these sides, and on the inside of card. Position the ones inside behind the top ones.
- Attach White piece to inside between these 2 strips.
- Now, attach the DSP piece to the front, center section.
- To make the "span", attach the longer DSP to the longer Balmy Blue piece, then attach to top sides, just under the 1 1/4" area.
- Next, stamp the "floating" Otter onto scrap of White. Cut out with smooth circle. Color with Blends as shown, adding Wink of Stella to the "water". Now, attach to larger Balmy Blue circle.
- Take this piece and attach lower edge of layered circle to the "span".
- Finish with Blue Gems and an inside sentiment stamped in Black.
