Love this line of retro, vintage "hippie" vans! What a fun use of the Host Pattern Party DSP! Stamp the van onto the DSP of your choice and "fussy cut" them out! Too much fun!
Measurements:
- Basic White: 7" x 8 1/2
- Pattern Party DSP (H): 7/8" x 8 1/2" (black & white print), 3 prints @ 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"
To Make This Card:
- Score White base along 7" side at 3 1/2". Crease well.
- Attach Black & White DSP "base" at bottom of card.
- Place card onto Stamparatus. Place "van" onto Stamparatus plate, so that the "van" is centered onto the "road". Now, "hinge stamp" 1 van to the right, moving 2 slots, return to center and "hinge stamp" 2 slots to the left. I am hoping this will keep the "vans" in a straight line! (Mine are not!)
- Now, select 3 different, small print DSP's. Stamp "van" in black into onto each piece. Fussy cut the "vans", cutting around WHEELS as shown (leave the "bumpers"). Split the "van" in half. You will have the lower portion, and then the "roof". Remove the "windows".
- Color the "frames" of the windows in a color that coordinates with all 3 prints. Color the "tires" black, "rims" the same color as the window frams, and the "hub caps" in another color.
- Now, you can add the pattern pieces to the stamped "vans" in any order that you would like!
- Wash a little light blue ink onto the windows with a Water Painter.
- Stamp sentiment of your choice in Black.
- Finish with gingham bow and scallered Black Matte Dots.
