This amazing Fun Fold has a rather simple, surprising way to open! Thanks, once again, to my Minnesota friend, Terri Gaines for this fold and inspiration! This is my original on her Fun Fold, that gives it a Delft Look.
Measurements:
- Basic White: 5 1/2" x 7", 2 pcs @ 2 1/2" x 3 1/4", 1/4 sheet (card support), scrap
- Misty Moonlight: 2 3/4" x 5 1/2", 2 pcs @ 2 3/4" x 3 1/2", 2" x 3"
- Heart & Home DSP (N): 1 1/4" x 5 1/2"
To Make This Card:
- Score White base at 1 3/8" from each side. Crease well.
- Run this folded card base through Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. (I, then, added a quarter sheet to the back.)
- Next, attach the DSP piece to the center of the larger Misty Moonlight piece.
- Now, place it inside the card base, so that the 2 outside flaps overlap, equally (about 1/8") onto the Misty Moonlight piece. Attach this JUST to the LEFT side of your card. Set the card base aside.
- Next, we'll work on the 2 other layered pieces. Take one White piece and attach to a Misty Moonlight rectangle. (This will go inside.) Set this aside. Repeat for the other 2.
- Cut Octagon from Misty Moolight piece. Place this onto one rectangle.
- Stamp small "windmill" in Misty Moonlight, onto White scrap. Cut out with corresponding die and mount over Octagon piece with Dimensionals.
- Next, center this piece on front of card. Attach to the RIGHT flap.
- For placement of the inside piece, place behind the corresponding front piece and attach.
- Finish with New Ocean Rhinestones and a small Misty Moonlight bow.
