There are so many possibilities with this Collection! Yes, there ARE Tulips! Some are 3D, but in this sample some are STAMPED!! I love the variety of colors in the DSP that guide you to make awesome color choices for your composition! For this card, I used Mango Melody and Soft Succulent cardstock, stamped with darker, coordinating inks and then cut out with the corresponding dies! I just LOVE it! Don't you just love the tiny brass butterflies?
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 1/2 sheet
- Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5", scrap
- Flowering Fields DSP (N): 1 3/4" x 3 3/4"
- Mango Melody: 4" x 5 1/4", scrap
- Soft Succulent: scrap
To Make This Card:
- Attach Mango Melody layer to folded Thick Basic White card.
- Run Basic White layer through Timber 3D Embossing Folder. Attach "tulip" DSP to this piece. Wrap Evening Evergreen ribbon around this layer over DSP and tie in a knot. Now, attach this piece to card front.
- Stamp tulip "detail" in Pumpkin Pie onto scrap of Mango Melody. Cut out with corresponding die. Add "centers" in Evening Evergreen ink.
- Next, stamp stem and 2 "leaves" in Evening Evergreen onto Soft Succulent cardstock. Cut these out as well with corresponding dies.
- Attach stem and leaves to card front where destired. Add "flower" with Dimensionals.
- Now, take the circle "thank you" stamp and just color in the "thank you" using the Evening Evergreen Stampin' Write Marker (not a Blend!). Huff it, and stamp onto scrap of White. Fussy cut around words. Attach to card with Dimensionals.
- Finish with scattered, new Brass Butterflies!
