I like to sit down with a new stamp set, or bundle, and create at least 2 cards. Well, yesterday, Mom and I got a little carried away. We made FIVE using the Garden Birdhouses stamp set! We had so much fun, and there are many more I would like to do! So, get this set, grab your Stampin' Blends, and get creating with me!! When I am done posting, you will have an entire set with this stamp set!! (also great for "guy" cards!)
Measurements:
- Calypso Coral: 1/2 sheet
- In Good Taste DSP(ret): 4" x 5 1/4" (any woodgrain)
- Basic White: 2 pcs @ 4" x 5 1/4" (1 for "windows", 1 for inside)
To Make this Card:
- Cut rectangle "windows" from the Picture This dies. Set aside.
- Also, cut rectangle "windows" from Basic White piece. You will just use the "windows" from this piece. Save the "base" for another project!
- Stamp each "birdhouse" onto one white "window". Color with Blends.
- Now, attach Foam Adhesive Strips to back of wood grain "window" piece. Attach to folded Calypso Coral card.
- Match each stamped window to window opening, and adhere flat into opening.
- Finish with double Linen Thread bow.
