This is a modification of a Mystery Card that I will be sharing with you soon! It uses the always versatile New Horizons DSP (which I hope you have, as it's now gone), and the Grassy Grove Bundle. It's kind of a paper piecing card, but VERY simple to do! Select a DSP for the "focal point" and then add 2 pieces below, one uses a sentiment. And, voila, you have a card for any occasion!!
Measurements:
- Night of Navy: 1/2 sheet, 2 1/4" x 5", 2 pcs @ 1 1/2" x 2 1/2", scrap
- New Horizons DSP (ret): 2 1/8" x 4 3/5"
- Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4", 2 pcs @ 1 1/4" x 2 1/4"
To Make This Card:
- Attach White layer to folded Night of Navy card.
- Attach DSP to coordinating Navy Layer. Set aside.
- Stamp "grasses" from Grassy Grove bundle onto one White piece. I used Navy.
- Stamp sentiment of your choice in Night of Navy on remaining White piece. Mount onto coordinating Navy layers.
- Cut large "deer" from scrap of Navy.
- Now, arrange all the pieces on the card front. Once it all fits the way you want it to, attach them to the card.
- Finish by attaching the die cut deer. The head will go above the rectangle.
