I am preparing for this months' Monthly Stamp Club where we are going to be exploring the Wisteria Wishes Bundle! I wanted to make sure that we used the awesome Wisteria Dies, new InColors, and stamped images. This is the first sample we will be doing using the dies and new InColors. The next card will be using the stamped images. I really do like this bundle! So many possibilities!!
Measurements:
- Orchid Oasis (N): 1/2 sheet cut LENGTHWISE, scrap
- 2022-2024 InColor DSP (N): 4" x 5 1/4"
- Basic White: 1/4 sheet (frame) 4" x 5 1/4" (inside), scraps
- Pear Pizzazz: scraps
- Old Olive: scraps
To Make This Card:
- Attach DSP to folded Orchid Oasis card.
- Cut White layer with Stitched with Whimsy die. (this makes a nice stitched pattern). Then cut around stitched with Paper Snips. Just follow the imprint made by the die.
- Create your "wisteria" paper by adding color to a piece of White cardstock. Using Blending Brushes, burnish (swirl) various "wisteria" colors onto your cardstock. I mostly used Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky (richer tones), but I also have some Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Fresh Freesia blended in.
- Cut out with Wisteria Dies (there are 2). I used 2 "heavy/bottom" layers and 3 "lighter/top" layers. Then, if desired, carefully add more color.
- Arrange 2 layers for each "wisteria". There is a "knob" at the top of each piece. I use a Glue Dot to initially glue them together. Place these 2, onto White layer, as shown. Add extra top layers, if desired.
- Cut out one Pear Pizzazz and one Old Olive "branch". Enhance veins in leaves with Old Olive ink and Blending Brush..
- Cut the "branches" apart and arrange over "wisteria".
- Cut lower-edge trim from Orchid Oasis. Attach where desired and trim.
- Attach White layer to card.
- Finish with double bow of InColor Bakers Twine and scattered Iridescent Pearls.
